37th Annual Griffith Park Sidecar

Doug has announced that tickets and reservations for this years
37th
annual Griffith Park Sidecar rally are available. We will once again do a
Saturday evening dinner/roast at
Big Jims
restaurant
8950 Laurel Canyon,
Sun Valley, CA. 91352
Dinner will be at 6:00 pm. Get there early to mingle and have a drink
with old and new friends.
Last years dinner and rally was a smashing
success. I expect that this years will even be better.
Sunday Oct
19th will be the day of the rally. Official times are from
9:00 am to 3:00 pm. I would suggest that if you want a really good
place to park and show
your rig to get there no later then 7:30 am.
Price for the dinner and rally entrance is
$45.00 We will be offering a special deal to renew
your membership
to the SoCal Sidecar club. Instead of the usual $35.00 annual
membership
dues, we will be offering the membership for $20.00 if you sign up with the
dinner
and rally package. So for $65.00 you get the Saturday evening
dinner, entrance to show your
rig at the rally, and your membership fee for the club. Currently most of the members
of
the club are on the complimentary membership program.
This was given to you because you paid for the dinner and rally last
year. I hope that everybody
got something out of the work that I've put
into the club. So I hope that most of you will take
advantage of this
special package with the dinner and rally and re up at this special price.
