Yesterday Saturday the 29th. Members of the SoCal Sidecar club came together to give a 85 years (young) woman a Bucket List ride.  Mary Lee Perkins and her niece, Lacy Kendal got to ride around scenic Palos Verdes and the South bay.  This was arranged after Lacy Kendal made a announcement on her Sunday radio show (KCAL 96.7)  asking if anybody knew any sidecar guys.  A listener called in and told her to contact California Harley Davidson.  Rochelle of CA Harley contacted me, and a ride was planned.

Ray and Nancie Anderson, Mike Smith, Thom Irwin, Wendy Genz and myself showed up at the Harley dealer ready to grant Mary Lee her wish.  The ride went on and Mary had the BIGGEST SMILE on her face imaginable.  We stopped for a moment at the Light House overlooking the ocean at Palos Verdes, and Mary Lee couldn't wait till we got back underway.  Her niece Lacy got to fly the chair a couple of times during the ride. We arrived back to the dealer to enjoy their Saturday BBQ and spent the next couple of hours talking till it was time to head home.  So all in all a good weekend for some of us.
