Well, we really lucked out with a beautiful morning to start our monthly ride with. The usual
group of suspects showed up at Denny's for the all important board meeting before the ride. 
This being the shortest planned monthly ride, was one of the best events yet that we've done so far this year. 
At Woodley park there was an impressive collection of Vintage and Antique British Cars and Motorcycles

The atmosphere was one of curiosity and very laid back.  Funny, how looking at these gorgeous collections
of metal and rubber brings back so many memories.  Memories of a simpler and less stressful time.  We chatted
with many friends not seen or heard from in awhile.  Gear and Motorheads sharing the same love for simpler machines. 
A time when working on your bike gave you pleasure. A time when most components could be fixed or overhauled
in your own garage at home.  

Boy those were the "Good old days" or were they?  Hmmm.  I seem to remember cussing and swearing
at a few bikes.  They tried to take off my right shin or ankle. I also remember having to constantly lube the
chain, replace points, easily fouled plugs and carbs that were more sensitive then a 16 yr old teenage girl
(yes I remember them too).  But still, seeing these vintage keepsakes, with all the TLC their owners have put
into their survival is something to enjoy and cherish.  So Thank you to all of you that love to keep our memories alive.
